Antony Varghese’s new action thriller, titled Kattalan, has been announced by Marco producer Shareef Muhammed of Cubes Entertainments, with debutant director Paul George at the helm. The launch poster features a silhouetted figure in a forest at night, holding an axe, with apparent dead bodies in front of him. The plot, cast, and crew details are still under wraps.

Antony Varghese, who was last seen in Daveed, a boxing action drama, is also working on projects with RDX director Nahas Hidhayath and actor Dulquer Salmaan. Additionally, a sequel to his film Ajagajantharam is in the works.

Meanwhile, Unni Mukundan’s ultra-violent action thriller Marco, which recently crossed Rs 100 crore at the box office, is now streaming on SonyLIV.
