The first look of Kathanar: The Wild Sorcerer shows Jayasurya as a dark, powerful sorcerer with the tagline “The one who steals your time, your mind, your reality.” Released on his birthday, the makers revealed that the film introduces Anushka Shetty to Malayalam cinema as Nila, while also bringing Prabhudheva back to the industry after a long gap of 13 years.
