Veteran actors Mammootty and Mohanlal are reuniting for a new film directed by Mahesh Narayanan, marking their first collaboration in 11 years. Filming will primarily take place in Sri Lanka for about 30 days, with additional shoots planned in Kerala, Delhi, and London.

Mahesh, along with MFPA president Anto Joseph and producer CV Sarathi, recently discussed the project with Sri Lankan Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena. While Mahesh confirmed the project, he did not reveal further details.

Mammootty and Mohanlal have worked together in over 50 films, their last being Kadal Kadannoru Mathukutty in 2013.

Mahesh Narayanan is known for films like Take Off and C U Soon, and he recently directed a segment for the anthology Manorathangal.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal is gearing up for his directorial debut with Barroz, a 3D children's fantasy film, and has several projects in the works. Mammootty is awaiting the release of Bazooka and has upcoming films including Dominic and Ladies' Purse.
