Malayalam director Nissar dies at 65
Malayalam filmmaker Nissar, 65, known for his contributions to the industry, has died following health struggles with his liver and lungs. Hailing from Changanassery, his final rites are scheduled for August 20.
He debuted with Sudhinam (1994), launching milestones for Dileep and Indrans, and giving opportunities to many newcomers and mimicry artists.
Known for low-budget hits, his notable films include Malayaalamaasam Chingam Onninu, Padanayakan, Captain, Auto Brothers, Dupe Dupe Dupe, Bullet, and Colours.
