Expectations are high for Mammootty’s upcoming thriller, Bazooka, as reports confirm that filming has officially wrapped up.

According to Forum Keralam, post-production work has begun, and an announcement regarding the release date is anticipated soon. A patchwork shoot took place in Cochin on September 30, featuring a stadium in Kochi.

The makers aim for a Christmas release, which could lead to a significant box-office clash with Mohanlal’s Barrow if both films launch as planned.

Directed by debutant Deeno Dennis, son of veteran scriptwriter Kaloor Dennis, Bazooka has garnered attention, especially after a special teaser featuring Mammootty and Gautham Vasudev Menon hinted at a stylish action narrative involving a cat-and-mouse chase.

Previously, Mammootty appeared in the action thriller Turbo, which received mixed reviews but was praised for its action choreography and his performance as the lead character, Jose.
