Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal's blockbuster film Lucifer, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, was a massive success in the Malayalam film industry. The movie featured Manju Warrier, Vivek Oberoi, and Tovino Thomas in key roles. It was later remade in Telugu as God Father starring Megastar Chiranjeevi, which also achieved significant success. Following the announcement of a sequel titled Lucifer 2: Empuraan, the first look of the film captivated the audience. Recently, the makers confirmed that the movie’s shooting has been completed.

The shooting of the movie concluded at 5:35 AM today at the Malampuzha Reservoir, with the makers revealing that the film is set to release on March 27, 2025. Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and with a story penned by Murali Gopy, the sequel promises to showcase Mohan Lal in an even more stylish avatar. This announcement has increased excitement and anticipation among the fans.

Interestingly, this marks Prithviraj’s third film as a director, and all three have featured Mohan Lal as the lead actor.
