Mohanlal and Kareena Kapoor Khan are reportedly in talks to star together in an upcoming film, produced by Aashirvad Cinemas and Sikhya Entertainment, the same team behind Kill and Gyaarah Gyaarah. The film is expected to begin production in 2025, with an official announcement soon.

Mohanlal has an exciting 2025 ahead, with several films lined up, including projects with directors Sathyan Anthikad, Mahesh Narayanan, and Jithu Madhavan. He is currently shooting for Vrushabha, a multilingual action-drama, and has also launched his directorial debut Barroz.

In addition, Mohanlal’s first 2025 release will be Thudarum, followed by the highly-anticipated Empuraan, the sequel to Lucifer. He is also part of Mahesh Narayanan's big-budget film, which stars Mammootty, Kunchacko Boban, and Fahadh Faasil.
