Mammootty and Mohanlal, the iconic stars of Malayalam cinema, are set to deliver a double treat for fans in 2025. In addition to appearing together in Mahesh Narayanan's upcoming film, the duo will also reunite for Amal Neerad’s next project, following Bougainvillea.

While the details of the film remain under wraps, speculation is rife about whether it will be a sequel to Big B (featuring Mammootty as Bilal) or a showdown between Mammootty’s character and Mohanlal's Sagar Alias Jacky. However, there’s no official confirmation yet.

Produced by Mammootty Kampany and Aashirvad Cinemas, the film will likely start after Mammootty wraps up shooting for Mahesh Narayanan’s project. The film is expected to be shot in multiple international locations, including the UK, Azerbaijan, and Thailand, and will have a 150-day shoot schedule.

Mohanlal, who will soon release his directorial debut Barroz, will also be working on Hridayapoorvam after completing L2: Empuraan. Fans can look forward to both stars bringing their magic to the big screen once again in 2025.
