Mohanlal And Sathyan Anthikad Kick Off Hridayapoorvam Filming With Pooja Ceremony

Filming for Hridayapoorvam, starring Mohanlal and directed by Sathyan Anthikad, began in Kochi with a traditional pooja ceremony. This marks their 18th collaboration, reuniting after a decade since Ennum Eppozhum (2015). Set in Pune, Hridayapoorvam is a family entertainer based on a story by Akhil Sathyan. Sonu TP is the debutant screenwriter. The film features Malavika Mohanan as the female lead, along with Sangita Madhavan Nair, Sangeeth Prathap, and Siddique in key roles.

The technical team includes cinematographer Anu Moothedath, art director Prasanth Madhav, sound designer Anil Radhakrishnan, and music composer Justin Prabhakaran. Notably, this is Mohanlal's first film using sync sound technology. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor under Aashirvad Cinemas, Hridayapoorvam is set for release on August 25. Mohanlal is also preparing for the release of L2: Empuraan, the sequel to Lucifer, on March 27, and awaits the release of Thudarum, which has been postponed.
