Mohanlal Empuraan Trailer Release Date Revealed

Fans of Malayalam cinema are eagerly awaiting L2: Empuraan, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 hit Lucifer. Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and written by Murali Gopy, this action thriller is the second film in a planned trilogy. Produced by Lyca Productions and Aashirvad Cinemas, it stars Mohanlal, who reprises his role as Khureshi-Ab'raam / Stephen Nedumpally, alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, and others.

The film is set for release on March 27, 2025, and recent reports suggest that the trailer will likely be unveiled on March 15, 2025. The trailer’s censor certificate, dated March 7, reveals a runtime of 3 minutes and 51 seconds. The movie itself has been granted a U/A 16+ certification, with a total runtime of 2 hours and 59 minutes, after minor cuts and changes by the CBFC.

The film also boasts a talented technical team, including music composer Deepak Dev, cinematographer Sujith Vaassudev, editor Akhilesh Mohan, and action choreographer Stunt Silva.
