Mohanlal Meets Sri Lankan Leaders, Shares Gratitude

Mohanlal made a special visit to the Sri Lanka Parliament and later shared highlights of the visit on social media, calling it a truly memorable and heartfelt experience.  He expressed heartfelt thanks for the warm reception and meaningful interactions with prominent leaders, including Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya. He attended a parliamentary session and observed proceedings from the public gallery.

The actor is currently in Sri Lanka filming an upcoming project directed by Mahesh Narayanan, which boasts a star-studded cast including Mammootty, Fahadh Faasil, Nayanthara, and Kunchacko Boban.

In 2025, Mohanlal had a successful run with L2: Empuraan and Thudarum, both crossing Rs 200 crore at the box office. While the former received mixed reviews, Thudarum was critically acclaimed.
