Love is sweet in anyone's life, and marrying someone you love brings lifelong happiness. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal experienced this joy by marrying his love. Recently, in an interview, his wife Suchitra shared their love story and marriage journey (Mohanlal Love Story).

Suchitra described their love journey in her own words: “I first saw Chetan (Mohanlal) at a wedding in Thiruvananthapuram. He was wearing a maroon-colored shirt that day. Until then, I had only seen him on screen, so seeing him in person was special. During the wedding, I discovered that our families shared mutual friends. Watching his first movie, Manjil Virinja Pookkal (Mohanlal’s First Movie), I didn’t feel love yet. But I started watching all his films and realized how talented he was. That’s when I started liking him. I began writing letters to him anonymously. I would write up to five cards a day and would send them to addresses where I knew he’d be.It’s fair to say I was overwhelming him with my affection!I even had a code name for him, ‘Sundara Kuttappan’ (handsome boy). Maybe he didn’t even know about this! When my mother began arranging matches for my marriage, I expressed my interest in Chetan. Through mutual friends, our marriage was arranged,” Suchitra fondly recalled.The pair tied the knot in 1988 and are parents to two children.

Suchitra also spoke about Mohanlal’s films: “I watch every film he acts in. If it’s good, I’ll say so; if not, I’m blunt with my opinion. If something doesn’t sit well with me, I don’t hesitate to express it. There were some films of his that I couldn’t digest; I would wonder why he chose to do them,” she shared candidly.
