Malayalam superstar Mohanlal visited the Sabarimala Ayyappa temple in Kerala, one of India's most famous pilgrimage sites. Dressed with a garland, he walked to the temple on foot, where he climbed the 18 steps and offered prayers at the Manikanta shrine. The temple authorities gave him a warm welcome, and special prayers and offerings were made. Videos and photos from the visit have gone viral.

Mohanlal’s upcoming film, L2 Empuraan, a sequel to the 2019 hit Lucifer, is set for release on March 27. Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, the film stars Manju Warrier and Tovino Thomas in key roles.
