Mohanlal's 'Vrushabha' Shelved: Producer Issues Halt the Film
Mohanlal's film "Vrushabha," co-starring Roshan and directed by Nanda Kishore, has been shelved due to producer-related issues after completing its first schedule.

Actor Srikanth recently shared an update about Mohanlal's movie "Vrushabha" during promotions for "Game Changer." The film, which features Mohanlal in a lead role and Srikanth's son Roshan in another key role, had its first schedule shot in July last year. Directed by Nanda Kishore, the movie also stars Ragini Dwivedi, Zarina Wahab, and Shanaya Kapoor. Initially planned for release in Telugu and Malayalam, the film seemed promising but has reportedly been halted due to differences with the producer.
Srikanth revealed that after completing just one schedule, the movie was shelved, and further production has ceased for now. He also mentioned that his son Roshan is currently working on another project titled "Champion" under the Vyjayanthi Movies banner. "Vrushabha" was intended to explore the bond between a father and son, with Mohanlal and Roshan playing these roles. Unfortunately, the producer-related issues caused the project to come to a standstill.
Initially promoted as a bilingual film in Telugu and Malayalam, the makers of "Vrushabha" had ambitious plans to release it in Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi as well. However, with the film now shelved, all those expectations have been left unfulfilled. Fans of Mohanlal and Roshan will have to wait for further updates, as the movie's future currently remains uncertain.
