Mohanlal Visits Thirumalai Kumarasamy Temple After Thudarum Success

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal recently visited the Thirumalai Kumarasamy Temple in Tamil Nadu to offer a ‘Thanga Vel’ (golden spear) as a token of gratitude for the success of his latest film, Thudarum. Photos from his temple visit went viral, with fans appreciating his spiritual side.

Thudarum, released on April 25, has been a major box office success, earning over ₹100 crore and receiving widespread praise. It marks one of Mohanlal’s two blockbusters this year, along with L2: Empuraan. Due to its popularity, the film’s OTT release was delayed, but it will now stream on JioCinema starting May 30 in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.

The crime thriller follows Shanmugham, aka Benz (played by Mohanlal), a former stunt assistant turned taxi driver, whose life takes a dramatic turn after his car is linked to a police case.
