The trailer for Saiju Kurup’s debut production, Bharathanatyam, has been released ahead of its August 23 premiere. The trailer, just under two minutes long, teases a comedic plot featuring Saiju as Sasi, an optimistic but unemployed man often ridiculed by his relatives. The trailer hints at a lively and entertaining film.

The movie is directed by Krishnadas Murali, who also wrote the screenplay. The cast includes Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Kalaranjini, and Saikumar. Produced by Saiju Kurup Entertainment and Thomas Thiruvalla Films, and backed financially by Lini Mariam David and Anupama B Nambiar, the film features music by Samuel Aby.

On its release date, Bharathanatyam will compete with Meera Jasmine’s Paalum Pazhavum, Indrajith Sukumaran’s Mr. & Mrs. Bachelor, and Bhavana’s Hunt. Saiju Kurup’s latest horror drama, Gu, is receiving positive reviews, and his next lead role will be in Porattu Naadakam, though its release has been postponed. Saiju is also set to appear in Nunakuzhi, Cop Uncle, Bad Boyz, and Kaalante Tangakudam.
