Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko’s father, C.P. Chacko, died in a road accident near Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu, early Thursday. Shine and his mother were also injured when their car collided with a lorry around 7 AM near Palkot. The vehicle carried Shine, his parents, brother, and driver. Eyewitnesses reported a severe impact, with Shine sustaining fractures in both arms.

All five were hospitalized immediately. Despite treatment, Shine’s father passed away, while the actor and his mother continue to receive care at a government hospital. Further updates are awaited.
