Usha Recalls Misbehavior Incident with Senior Actor in 1992, Supported by Mohanlal

Malayalam actress Usha recently recalled an incident from 1992 when a senior actor misbehaved with her during a shoot involving Mohanlal. Usha revealed at a press meet in Kannur that the actor made an inappropriate advance in an elevator, prompting her to slap him. She reported the incident to Mohanlal, who supported her reaction. Despite this, Usha was labeled as 'arrogant' and lost many work opportunities.

The incident occurred while the team was working in the Gulf. Usha mentioned that the actor, who has since passed away, behaved inappropriately in the elevator, leading her to retaliate physically. When Sukumari entered the lift, Usha explained what happened, and Mohanlal and Sukumari reassured her. However, Usha faced backlash, being accused of arrogance and losing movie offers.

This revelation comes shortly after Mohanlal stepped down as President of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA), following allegations against some committee members. A new committee is expected to be formed within two months after an election.
