Veteran Malayalam Actor Ajith Vijayan Passed Away At 57

Malayalam actor Ajith Vijayan, known for his roles in films like Oru Indian Pranayakatha, Amar Akbar Anthony, Bangalore Days (Tamil), and Anju Sundarikal, passed away at the age of 57 in Kochi. With a career spanning both cinema and television, he was recognized for his versatile acting skills.

Ajith, who came from a family rooted in classical arts, was the grandson of Kathakali maestro Kalamandalam Krishnan Nair and Mohiniyattam legend Kalamandalam Kalyanikutty Amma. 

He was widely appreciated for his role as Ambiswamy in the anthology film 5 Sundarikal and also gained recognition for his performance as an astrologer in Bangalore Days.
