Gurpanth Maan, the younger sibling of celebrated Punjabi artist Gurdas Maan, breathed his last at the age of 68 in Mohali. His funeral will take place today (June 10) in Chandigarh. He had been under treatment and was recently discharged when his condition suddenly worsened.

A resident of Gidderbaha, Gurpanth led a quiet life as a farmer and commission agent. Gurdas Maan, known for Dil Da Maamla Hai, has released 34+ albums, acted in films like Veer-Zaara, and won a National Award.
