Coolie, the highly anticipated film starring Rajinikanth and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is under production. The action thriller is set to feature Aamir Khan in a cameo role, marking his Tamil film debut. Reports suggest that Aamir Khan will join the team in Jaipur for the upcoming schedule, where he'll film scenes with Rajinikanth.

The film, initially planned as a fantasy with Rajinikanth in a negative role, was reshaped into Coolie after producer and director discussions. Alongside Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan, the film also stars Nagarjuna, Sathyaraj, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and Shruti Haasan. Kanagaraj has confirmed that each actor will have a well-written role in this dark thriller.
