The car gift was given to Shalini on November 20, and a photo of her with the Lexus car has gone viral on the internet. Ajith and Shalini first met and fell in love during the shooting of the film Amarkalam. The couple, who got married after falling in love, have continued to be a popular pair in the Tamil film industry.

Shalini, who worked as an actress in both Malayalam and Tamil cinema, began her career as a child artist. She later appeared in television serials before gaining recognition.
