Actor and racer Thala Ajith recently had a close call during the GT4 European Series at Italy’s Misano track when his car collided with a stationary vehicle. Though unhurt, he had to withdraw from the race.

Known for his passion for racing since 2003, Ajith is now gearing up for the next round at Belgium’s Spa-Francorchamps circuit.

Despite the mishap, he showed humility by assisting the cleaning staff at the site. With achievements in international races and the 2010 Formula 2 Championship, Ajith balances films and racing with equal dedication.

He was recently honored with the Padma Bhushan by the Indian government.
