Ajith Requests Fans to Avoid Slogans as He Prepares for Vidaamuyarchi
Actor Ajith, gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Vidaamuyarchi, has expressed displeasure over the slogan "Kadavuley Ajithey" chanted by fans at public and private events. In an official statement, Ajith clarified his discomfort with the use of superlatives or prefixes attached to his name, requesting to be addressed simply by his name or initials. He also reiterated a previous request made years ago, asking fans to stop calling him "Thala."
Ajith urged his fans to immediately refrain from indulging in such slogan shouting and emphasized the importance of focusing on personal and family responsibilities. He advised them to work hard, play hard, and be law-abiding citizens without causing harm to others. His statement follows several videos circulating on social media showing fans chanting "Kadavuley Ajithey" at various events.
On the professional front, Ajith recently completed dubbing for Vidaamuyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, set to release during Pongal 2025. He is also collaborating with Adhik Ravichandran on the film Good Bad Ugly. Additionally, Ajith is returning to the racing world, participating in the 2024 European GT4 Championship with his newly announced racing team.
