Legendary composer Ilaiyaraaja sent a legal notice to the makers of Good Bad Ugly for using his old songs without permission. Unsatisfied with the response from Mythri Movie Makers, he approached the Madras High Court.

Justice Senthikumar issued an interim order preventing the film from being exhibited, sold, or streamed on any platform, including OTT.

Following this, Netflix has removed the Ajith starrer and will not stream it until the court allows.

Ilaiyaraaja alleged that his compositions, including 'Otha Rubayum Tharen,' 'Ilamai Idho Idho,' and 'En Jodi Manja Kuruvi,' were utilized without his consent.
