Ban on Dhanush Lifted After Agreement with Producers Association
The Tamil Film Producers Association has lifted the ban on Dhanush after he agreed to act in a film for Thenandal Films and repay the advance to Five Star Creations with interest.

Dhanush, a leading actor in Tamil cinema, has also impressed in Bollywood and Hollywood.
His 50th film, "Rayan," released last July and became a box office hit.
Dhanush faced allegations of taking advance payments from production companies but not acting in their films or returning the money.
As a result, the Tamil Film Producers Association imposed a ban on him.
Producers were advised to consult the association before signing him for new films.
Dhanush is currently busy with his committed films and directing "Nilukku En Mel Ennadi Gobam."
Dhanush agreed to two conditions: acting in a film for Thenandal Films and repaying the advance amount to Five Star Creations with interest.
Following this, the producers' association decided to lift the ban on him.
In July, the association had advised producers to consult them before starting any new projects with Dhanush.
