Dhanush Shares Big Update On Vada Chennai 2

Vada Chennai, a major hit in Dhanush’s career, has long had fans eagerly awaiting a sequel. Speculations had even suggested Simbu might replace him, but director Vetrimaaran confirmed his film with Simbu isn’t Vada Chennai 2.

At the pre-release event of Idli Kadai, Dhanush revealed, “Vada Chennai 2 shooting will begin in 2026, with a theatrical release in 2027.”

Fans can rejoice at this long-awaited news. Meanwhile, Dhanush is busy promoting Idli Kadai and has Tere Ishq Mein, directed by Aanand L Rai, set to release later this year.
