Kollywood star hero Dhanush is currently acting in the biopic of legendary music director Ilaiyaraaja. Official announcements about the film have already been made, and a first look poster of Dhanush as Ilaiyaraaja has also been released. Recently, it has been reported that Dhanush will be starring in another biopic, based on the life of a prominent legendary figure from the industry. Currently, Dhanush is directing his 52nd film, and the shooting for this project is progressing rapidly. This film is being jointly produced by Dhanush’s Wonder Bar and Don Pizzas.

Along with Dhanush, the film features actors Rajkiran, Sathyaraj, Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, and others. Music for the film is being composed by GV Prakash. Meanwhile, Dhanush, who is busy with the shooting of Ilaiyaraaja’s biopic, is also reportedly set to star in the biopic of the legendary actor Joseph Panimayadas Chandrababu. No official statement has been released about this so far.

Dhanush recently began his directorial career with the movie Raanjhan, and he had previously made his directorial debut with the 2017 film Power Paandi. In this film, actors Rajkiran and Revathi played the lead roles. The movie received a positive response from the audience when it was released. After that, Dhanush did not focus much on directing films for a long time.
