New posters for Idli Kadai, Dhanush's fourth directorial, were released before the Pongal festival on Monday. The posters feature Nithya Menen, Dhanush, and one with Dhanush alongside a cow. The previous posters showcased Dhanush in a younger and older look, with one featuring Raj Kiran.

Dhanush directs and stars in and co-produces the film, which also stars Nithya Menen and Samuthirakani. While more details about the plot and cast are awaited, Dhanush’s character appears to be the owner of a small eatery named Sivanesan Idli Kadai.

Composer GV Prakash Kumar reunites with Dhanush for this project, following their collaborations in Vaathi, Captain Miller, and the upcoming Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK). The film’s technical team includes cinematographer Kiran Koushik, editor Prasanna GK, and production designer Jacki.

Idli Kadai will be released on April 10, 2025, produced by Dawn Pictures, Red Giant Movies, Wunderbar Films, and co-produced by Aakash Baskaran and Dhanush, with Sreyas Srinivasan as the executive producer.
