Dulquer Salmaan's upcoming film Lucky Bhaskar, directed by Venky Atluri, is set to be released as a Diwali gift. Initially slated for a September 27 release, the date was moved to September 7. However, due to the competitive landscape created by the big-budget film G.O.A.T starring Vijay, Lucky Bhaskar dropped out of the race. The release of G.O.A.T was disappointing outside Tamil, and Lucky Bhaskar could have thrived without any Telugu competition. Now, the film's makers are preparing for a festive release. Dulquer continues to juggle multiple projects in both Malayalam and Telugu, building on his success since Mahanati.
