Ilayaraja Sends Legal Notice To Mythri Movie Makers Over Song Remixes In Good Bad Ugly

Ilayaraja Demands Rs. 5 Crore Compensation from Mythri Movie Makers for Unauthorized Song Use

Music legend Ilayaraja has sent legal notices to Mythri Movie Makers, a leading production company in Tollywood, over the unauthorized use of his songs in the Tamil film Good Bad Ugly (GBU). The film, starring Ajith Kumar and directed by Adik, has been a massive hit since its release on April 10, receiving positive reviews and breaking box office records.

However, Ilayaraja is upset about the remixing of his classic songs without his permission. The music director has demanded a compensation of Rs. 5 crore from the production house and requested that the use of his songs in the film be halted immediately. He has also asked for an unconditional apology from the team within seven days.

As of now, it remains to be seen how Mythri Movie Makers will respond to the notices.
