Superstar Rajinikanth is gearing up to reprise his popular character Muthuvel Pandian once again. The role delivered massive success in Jailer, and its sequel, Jailer 2, is now officially under production. Since the sequel was announced, audiences have been eagerly speculating about which prominent actors will appear in special roles. Actor Vijay Sethupathi has now confirmed his involvement in the film.

Speaking about his role, Vijay Sethupathi said that he will be seen in a guest appearance in Jailer 2. He expressed his admiration for Rajinikanth and stated that he has learned many valuable lessons from working alongside him. Vijay Sethupathi also shared that he is currently choosing antagonist and special appearance roles only in stories that genuinely excite viewers. He added that many filmmakers are approaching him specifically for villain characters.
