The much-anticipated film Thug Life, featuring Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, has completed shooting. Directed by the legendary Mani Ratnam, the film stars Aishwarya Lakshmi, Trisha, and Phi Male, with notable roles from Simbu, Gautham Karthik, Joju George, Dulquer Salmaan, and Jayam Ravi.

In a remarkable feat, the digital rights for Thug Life were sold for ₹149.7 crores, marking the highest ever in Kollywood history. The film is set for a grand theatrical release in the summer of 2025.

The makers have also released a video, "Simbu Sigma Thug Rule," which is generating buzz online. Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman is on board for the music and background score. Thug Life is jointly produced by Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran under the banners of Rajkamal Film International, Red Giant Movies, and Madras Talkies.
