The advance booking for Suriya's upcoming movie Kanguva has started with a bang, selling over 50,000 tickets. The movie has sold 51,978 tickets, with an estimated gross collection of Rs 92.67 lakh from the Tamil version. Including blocked seats, the total pre-sale gross collection is around Rs 2.31 crore, according to Sacnik.

The movie has generated Rs 20.23 lakh (Rs 46.35 lakh from blocked seats) in Andhra Pradesh, Rs 13.96 lakh (Rs 71.86 lakh from blocked seats) in Karnataka, and Rs 39.08 lakh (Rs 69.58 lakh from blocked seats) in Tamil Nadu. In Bengaluru, the collection is Rs 9.63 lakh (Rs 47.77 lakh from blocked seats), while in Chennai, it is Rs 5.28 lakh (Rs 8.15 lakh from blocked seats). The movie also earned Rs 6.52 lakh (Rs 7.97 lakh from blocked seats) in Coimbatore and Rs 2.04 lakh (Rs 2.72 lakh from blocked seats) in Vizag.

Trade trackers report that the makers are targeting more than 10,000 screens worldwide for Kanguva. Producer G Dhananjeyan of Studio Green mentioned in a recent press conference that over 700 screens have been confirmed in Tamil Nadu alone, with more than 2,500 screens in the South and around 3,000 to 3,500 screens in North India. The movie will be released in multiple languages, both in 2D and 3D formats, on November 14, 2024. Suriya plays dual roles as Kanguva and Francis Theodore, with Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, and others in the cast.
