Karan Johar Praises Suriya's Upcoming Film Kanguva

Starring Suriya alongside Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, and others, this fantasy action film is directed by Siva and produced on a massive budget of ₹300 crore, making it one of the most expensive films in Indian cinema.

In a recent interview, producer KE Gnanavel Raja revealed that Bollywood producer Karan Johar watched the first 30-40 minutes of Kanguva and praised its production value. Despite his busy schedule, Johar discussed the film in detail, highlighting its impressive impact before release.

KE Gnanavel mentioned that while Suriya is currently dubbing for the Tamil version, they plan to use AI technology for other languages, marking a new trend in Kollywood. The film aims for a global release in Chinese and Japanese as well. Kanguva will premiere on approximately 3,500 screens worldwide, including 3D and IMAX formats. With over three years in the making, the producers are optimistic about its success across India, not just in Tamil cinema.
