Karnataka High Court Demands Apology From Kamal Haasan On Kannada Issue

Following this, the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce banned his film Thug Life. Kamal Haasan has filed a petition seeking permission to screen the movie.
The court emphasized that public figures must be careful with their statements, as Kamal Haasan’s comments have caused unrest and hurt Kannada sentiments.
