Tamil actress Lakshmi Menon and three others are linked to the kidnapping and assault of an IT professional in Kochi, Kerala. The court has granted her bail until September 17, and police have been directed not to arrest her till then.

The incident occurred last Sunday after a dispute at a restaurant bar, where Lakshmi Menon and her friends allegedly chased the IT employee, intercepted his car, and attacked him.

Ernakulam North police arrested three of her friends—Mithun, Aneesh, and Sonamol—while Lakshmi Menon is currently absconding, and her phone is switched off. Authorities have yet to include her name in the official FIR.

Lakshmi Menon is known for Tamil films such as Kumki, Sundarapandian, Jigarthanda, Vedalam, Chandramukhi 2, and the hit Indrudu with Vishal.
