Lokesh Kanagaraj Reacts To Coolie Footage Leak: 'Two Months Of Hard Work Gone In Vain'

Lokesh Kanagaraj Reacts to Coolie Footage Leak

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has voiced his frustration over a leak from his upcoming film Coolie, featuring Rajinikanth. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he lamented that two months of collective effort by the cast and crew were undermined by a single leaked recording, urging fans to refrain from such actions as they diminish the overall viewing experience.

The leaked footage showcased an action sequence involving Nagarjuna, one of the film's prominent stars, alongside Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Upendra, and Soubin Shahir.

Coolie, produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures, began filming in July. The film features music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, and editing by Philomin Raj, with stunts choreographed by Anbariv.

Details about the film's plot remain closely guarded. Meanwhile, Lokesh Kanagaraj's next project, Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel, is set to release on October 10.
