The video song "Manaki Manaki" from the film Thangalan, directed by Pa Ranjith and starring Vikram, has been released. The film, which debuted on August 15, is receiving positive reviews and has made a strong global box office impact, earning 53.64 crores in its first two days. It collected 26.44 crores on its opening day. Praised for Vikram and Parvathy's performances, the film also benefits from A Kishore Kumar's cinematography and Selva RK's editing. Ranjith's storytelling combines drama, action, and emotion effectively. 

The film, based on real events from the Kolar Gold Fields, features Malvika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pashupati, Daniel Caltagirone, Sampath Ram, and Hari Krishnan. Produced by Neelam Productions, Studio Green, and Jio Studios, with music by GV Prakash Kumar, a new poster announcing the "Manaki Manaki" song release has been shared on social media.
