Manithan Re Release Date Announced

Rajinikanth’s 1987 hit Manithan, directed by SP Muthuraman, will re-release in a restored, digitised format on October 10. The film, starring Raghuvaran, Rupini, and others, follows Raja, who overcomes false accusations and superstition to serve society.

A silver jubilee hit, it was the year’s second-highest grosser and was also dubbed in Telugu as Prabhanjanam. The re-release celebrates Rajinikanth’s golden jubilee in cinema.
