In an interview with Hautterfly, she explained that her love for altering her eyebrow shape contributes to how her face looks, suggesting this is why people think she has had surgery. She stated, "I love doing my brows. I take the time to perfect it because it’s the real game changer." Nayanthara dismissed claims of plastic surgery, emphasizing that her changing appearance is due to natural weight changes over the years. 

She confidently asserted, "You can pinch me, burn me, and you’ll know there’s no plastic in here." Nayanthara, who debuted in 2003 with Manassinakkare, has become a leading actress in the South Indian film industry and is currently working on Dear Students with Nivin Pauly.
