While promoting her upcoming film Kadhalikka Neramillai, she candidly shared, "If I get an opportunity in another field, I would leave immediately. I want to live a normal life." She expressed a desire for simplicity, citing how being a public figure restricts her freedom, like enjoying a simple walk in the park. Nithya also mentioned that before winning a National Award, she often considered stepping away from acting to live life on her terms.

In addition to her acting career, Nithya revealed that she had once aspired to become a pilot and has a love for travel, which she finds restricted by her profession. Despite these thoughts, the National Award changed her path, bringing more recognition and responsibilities.
