The much-awaited sequel Jailer 2, starring Rajinikanth and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is gearing up for its big launch. The film is expected to be officially announced on Rajinikanth's birthday.

Recently, the team wrapped up the promo shoot for Jailer 2, with Rajinikanth returning as the iconic 'Tiger' Muthuvel Pandian IPS. The promotional shoot, which included a special video and official posters, was completed in one day, and post-production for the promo is already underway. Fans can expect the announcement to drop on December 12, 2024, coinciding with Rajinikanth's birthday.

Jailer 2, tentatively titled Hukum, is one of the most anticipated films of 2025. Alongside Rajinikanth, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and Kannada star Shiva Rajkumar are expected to reprise their roles from the first film. Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa Menon, and others are also likely to return for the sequel.
