Rajinikanth's upcoming film, 'Vettayan,' directed by TJ Gnanavel of Jai Bheem fame, is creating a buzz. The action drama features Rajinikanth as a cop, with post-production in full swing and dubbing completed by Fahadh Faasil, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, and Abhirami. As promotions near, the film has already made headlines by securing distribution rights for 17 crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

This follows the success of Rajinikanth's recent hit, Jailor, which grossed over 35 crores in the region. Distributor Asean-Suresh, who previously profited from Jailor, is optimistic about 'Vettayan' replicating this success. Set to release on October 10, 2024, 'Vettayan' will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, and others, with music by Anirudh Ravichander and production by Subhaskaran of Lyca Productions.
