Ranbir Kapoor To Play Dual Roles In Ramayana

Ranbir Kapoor will play dual roles in the upcoming film Ramayana, with Amitabh Bachchan taking on a special role. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film stars Kapoor and Sai Pallavi and is generating significant buzz.

Amitabh Bachchan, reuniting with Kapoor after Brahmastra: Part One Shiva (2022), will lend his voice to the mythical bird Jatayu. Kapoor will portray both Lord Rama and Parashurama, exploring Parashurama’s challenges before and after Lord Rama breaks Lord Shiva’s bow, Pinaka.

Bachchan will not appear on-screen but will provide the voice for Jatayu, who attempts to rescue Goddess Sita from Ravana. VFX technology, including eye scans of Bachchan, will enhance Jatayu’s portrayal.

The film also features Yash as Ravana, who is co-producing the project, along with Arun Govil and Lara Dutta in key roles.
