Sai Pallavi and Vijay Sethupathi Win Top Honors at 22nd Chennai International Film Festival

The Chennai International Film Festival, which is considered a special event in the Tamil film industry, took place recently. Prominent figures from the Kollywood industry attended the event on Thursday evening. In this event, Sai Pallavi received the Best Actress award for her performance in the film Amaran, while Vijay Sethupathi won the Best Actor award for his role in Maharaja. Sai Pallavi expressed her happiness regarding this achievement.

I feel incredibly honored and proud to have been named Best Actress at the 22nd Chennai International Film Festival. This year saw the release of many great films, and there was a lot of competition. To be selected for this award during such a time makes me really happy. I thank my fans; their love always moves me emotionally. This was possible because of Mukund's family, especially his wife. They agreed to share the story of a soldier who continuously serves the country. Directors like Rajkumar Periyasamy can bring more such stories to us," said Sai Pallavi.

Vijay Sethupathi also expressed his joy for receiving the award. He thanked the audience who supported Maharaja. The winners at the event were:
