Director Seenu Ramasamy has revealed his decision to part ways with his wife, GS Dharshana, after 17 years of marriage. In a statement on his X account, he said, "After 17 years of marriage, my wife GS Dharshana and I have decided to separate. Our divorce will be by mutual consent, and we will go our own ways, with no further involvement in each other's activities or responsibilities."

He continued, "We have approached the Chennai High Court to facilitate our divorce and hope you will respect this personal choice. Your support is appreciated."

Seenu Ramasamy, known for his work in films like Thenmerku Paruvakaatru (2010), Neerparavai (2012), Dharma Durai (2016), Kanne Kalaimaane (2019), and Maamanithan (2022), most recently directed Kozhipannai Chelladurai, which was released this September. The film starred Aegan, Yogi Babu, and Brigida Saga in the lead roles.
