Shruti Haasan Joins Rajinikanth's Coolie Set

Shruti Haasan has joined the sets of Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie in Chennai, marking her first collaboration with Rajinikanth and the director. A recent photo showed Shruti prepping for her role as Preethi in the film. She joins an ensemble cast featuring Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, and Sathyaraj, though details of her character remain under wraps, with the poster suggesting an action-oriented role.

Coolie began shooting in July and features music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, and editing by Philomin Raj. The film, produced by Sun Pictures, is set for release in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada, though the release date is yet to be confirmed. Shruti was last seen in Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire (2023).
