On Kamal Haasan's 70th birthday, his daughter Shruti Haasan shared a touching tribute on Instagram, calling him a “rare diamond.” Posting a gym photo of them together, Shruti wished her father, writing, “Happy birthday, Appa. Walking by your side is one of my favorite things in life. You may not believe in God, but you’ll always be his chosen child.”

She expressed her admiration for his work, saying, “I’m always excited to see the magical things you do. Here’s to many more birthdays and dreams coming to life. Love you so much, Pa.”

Kamal Haasan, a legendary actor in Indian cinema, has worked across multiple languages including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. From his debut as a child artist in 1960 to his iconic roles in films like Moondram Pirai and Nayakan, he has earned numerous accolades, including three National Film Awards and Padma Bhushan. Recently, he reprised his role in Indian 2 and will appear next in Indian 3 and Thug Life.
