Silambarasan Turns Producer with STR 50, Directed by Desingh Periyasamy

Silambarasan, known for his versatility as an actor, singer, and dancer, is now venturing into film production with his next project, STR 50, directed by Desingh Periyasamy. On his birthday, the actor officially announced his production debut through his X handle, revealing that he will be producing the film under his new banner, Atman Cinearts.

Sharing a poster of STR 50, Silambarasan expressed his excitement, calling it a dream project for both him and Desingh Periyasamy. He requested fans' support for his new venture and promised to pour his heart into the film. Previously, Desingh Periyasamy was supposed to collaborate with Silambarasan under Raaj Kamal Films International, but the status of that project remains unclear.

STR 50 will feature music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Nirav Shah, and editing by Praveen. Further details about the cast and plot are yet to be revealed. Meanwhile, Silambarasan is also working on Thug Life with Kamal Haasan, an untitled film with Ashwath Marimuthu, and STR 49 with Ramkumar Balakrishnan.
